Nana Kalandadze, Programme Officer, International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance
Nana Kalandadze works with International IDEA’s Wider Europe and Democracy and Gender Programmes, where she supports global initiatives for gender equality and political participation, and helps design International IDEA’s initiatives in the Wider Europe region.
Nana has over 10 years of experience in designing and managing democracy assistance initiatives in the field of women’s human rights, democratic participation and representation, electoral systems and gender quotas, and democracy assessments. Before joining IDEA, Nana worked as a Gender Advisor of the OSCE/ODIHR Democratization Department, being involved in numerous gender equality and non-discrimination, OSCE Mission to Georgia and various other international missions on electoral reform and democratic reforms. Nana holds a masters degree in International Relations and European Studies from Central European University in Budapest, Hungary and a bachelors degree in International Relations from Tbilisi State University, Georgia.
